The Late Shows 2014

Saturday 17th May …… Blackswan Courtyard, Newcastle Arts Centre.

 

The famous Late Shows are on again this year  www.thelateshows.org.uk 

The Black Swan courtyard will come alive with workshops and demos, set to live music.

Discover how to throw a pot on the potter’s wheel.  Taking place in the pottery studio and  in the 1800 year old courtyard gardens.

Activities will be taking place throughout the evening so just drop in. .

Purchased by Lord and Lady Inglewood for their collection at Hutton in the Forest

The Roman Milecastle

Finally an official plaque is going to be fixed to to the building/courtyard in Westgate Road to mark where I discovered a Roman Milecastle in 1985.

To be opened by the Leader of the Council Nick Forbes.

Unveiling 29th Sept at 1.00 followed by light refreshments in the Arts Centre.
